TERMS OF USE

Clear terms for the website and the software.

Effective July 30, 2026 · Last updated July 30, 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing this website or downloading Elefante, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or software.

2. Website information

Website content is provided for general product information. Roadmap items marked “Upcoming” or “Exploring” are directional and are not commitments to deliver a feature or meet a date. The published release manifest identifies the software currently offered for download; it is v2.12.2 as of these terms.

3. Software licence

Free for personal projects. The Business Source License 1.1 also permits non-competitive production use. For industrial deployment, commercial support, integration, or a competitive offering, contact Elefante.

Elefante is source-available software. The repository licence—not this website summary—controls your rights, including its Business Source parameters, Change Date, and Change License.

Third-party components are governed by their respective licences. You are responsible for reviewing the applicable licence before using, modifying, or distributing the software.

4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the website, attempt to bypass security controls, interfere with other visitors, submit unlawful or harmful content, or use automated means to overload the contact service. Do not upload credentials or sensitive memory content through the form.

5. Third-party services and links

Downloads, source code, documentation, analytics, anti-abuse checks, and email delivery may involve third-party services such as GitHub, Vercel, Cloudflare, and Resend. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services.

6. No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and software are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or error-free results.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elefante will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from the website or software.

8. Changes and availability

We may change or discontinue website features and may update these terms. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the secure Contact form.
